Frequently Asked Questions

• How long do tour last?  Tours last about 4 hours with visits to 3 locations, giving guests plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience.  We can customize tours for longer duration or more stops if needed.

• What should I bring with me? Please bring your I.D., cash or credit card, comfortable shoes and clothing, and a smile. The day is yours. Enjoy the ride!

• Can we bring food and beverages on the tour van? Yes, feel free to bring beverages or snacks in the van. However, please refrain from bringing popcorn or glitter! 

• How do we pay for the tour?   Tour prices begin at $624 for up to 8 people on a 4-hour tour, which includes gratuity. Each additional person is $78. To secure your date, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining amount is due 30 days before the tour date. Credit card payments by phone are welcome. Due to the nature of our business, cancellations are accepted but not refunded.  We will, however, try to accommodate any changes and help you find another date that will work.  

• Will we learn about the area on the tour?  Absolutely! We will point out interesting places and provide historic information as we tour the area. Some of the highlights you may see include Lake Michigan, Lake Charlevoix, Walloon Lake and historic towns like Harbor Springs, Petoskey, or Charlevoix. 

• Can we go to a mix of breweries, distilleries and wineries on the tour?  Of course!  All of our tours are customized to your group. We are happy to discuss your interests with you and plan a tour that is geographically feasible in the time allotted. Some locations sell a mix of wine, cider, beer or spirits. The list provided under LOCATIONS will note places that carry more than one type of beverage. 

• What are the fees at each brewery, winery or distillery?  It is good to budget from $10-15 for each stop on the tour, depending on what you wish to try. Most locations also allow you to make purchases of their products.

• Where are your pickup locations?  We can pick up guests at any hotel, rental home or residence in Petoskey, Charlevoix, Walloon Lake or Boyne City, as well as at most downtown locations in Harbor Springs and Alanson.  Tours are usually planned with the pick up location in mind to minimize drive times and maximize the time available at each tour location.
